He's got a weird way of saying things sometimes, but he doesn't pretend to suit anybody. I'm glad it worked out for you two.
[She's glad that there are people who can understand that he isn't truly talking about the act of taking lives. It's easy to misinterpret what he means, and despite his claims that he doesn't care what others think, Bulla knows that's simply not true. So to have people that accept him exactly how he is...it's important.]
So, if he was going to get you a gift sometime, what sort of thing would you prefer? Flowers? A stuffed animal? Jewelry? If the topic ever comes up, I want to make sure to point him in the right direction.

I kind of envy that about him. He's very bold and passionate, but he's not completely inflexible either and he seems like he's interested in learning. His confidence is amazing! I think...this could be really good for me. So I hope I'm good for him too.
