Well...he said I should fight him with everything I had if I wanted to date him. I thought it would be a test of strength, but it seems he thought I was stronger.

[She rubs the back of her sweaty neck with a wry smile, both flattered and sympathetic of his feelings.]

So I told him I loved him, and he said he wanted to murder everything together which kind of means the same thing, and I guess that's that!

[It's sort of the short version. It still makes her warm inside to think of how it felt to hold onto each other like that, hearts full, knowing how it felt at long last to love someone and feel that love in return.]

I still get butterflies in my stomach when I think about it, ha ha! But I...I kind of like knowing that he sees me like that. As an equal, you know? I'm glad he needs me as much as I need him.

He's got a weird way of saying things sometimes, but he doesn't pretend to suit anybody. I'm glad it worked out for you two.

It's easy to misinterpret what he means, and despite his claims that he doesn't care what others think, Bulla knows that's simply not true. So to have people that accept him exactly how he is...it's important.]

I kind of envy that about him. He's very bold and passionate, but he's not completely inflexible either and he seems like he's interested in learning. His confidence is amazing! I think...this could be really good for me. So I hope I'm good for him too.
